...So i fell off the chair today because i didnt place the chair well.it was not on a flat surface.
No sooner had i sat on the chair than i fell flat on my back.
Over a hundred eyes were on me because a class was goin on right behind me.
I looked around for someone to help me up and even though someone did offer, she cudnt cos i was stuck under the chair
In the end,i disentangled my self from the chair and got up.i heard several mumurs of sorry which i appreciated even though i was embarrassed by it
The reality was however that i had to get back to that chair and finish the business that brought me there in the first instance.
As i made to set the chair a second time with my head still down in shame and my body tickling from sharp pains,i looked more carefully and set my chair properly.if only i had done this the first time. But i learnt something,to always look before i leap, before i sit, before i crucify some one, before i take a decision and before i sit down.
That action and reaction are equal and opposite
I actually did fall down!!!
I believe it's a balancing act: look, but dont over analyze. One person rushes into a business opportunity heedless of the risks and suffers a major financial setback. Another one sleeps on the idea and mulls it over and over in his head untill the window of opportunity closes and discovers down the line he was just a few steps away from millions. But sha I will study every chair closely from now on!
