Explosion in Abuja..Several Dead,300 people trapped

News going round early this morning has it that there has been a bomb blast in the UN office in abuja this morning.Several people feared dead and about three hundred people are said to be trapped in the building but have been evacuated.

Just a few days ago,i was still talking about our rescue operations here in Nigeria.I hear rescue operation is on going at the moment and  as many people as possible has been evacuated.Police officers,NEMA and men of the fire service are said to be putting all hands on deck to ensure safety of lives.Response was said to be swift and i think that is moving step ahead.All the people at the basement were however said to have been killed.
This makes people at the basement of buildings the most susceptible to this kind of 'car ramming into building attacks'

Suspicion has it that the explosion was caused by a car ramming into the gate of the UN office in Abuja causing an explosion. Speculations are pinning the explosion as suicide bombing by the Boko Haram sector but no definite reports have been made yet

Officials of National Hospital Abuja,is said to be calling on well meaning Nigerians to come and donate blood in Abuja to help recuperation of injured victims of the explosion
Lots of people have been injured,families would have lost their loved ones and people will be in pain and
suffer varying degree of burns and injury. This is a very sad news to begin the weekend with!!!
